The Bible in 180 Days
We will meet Tuesdays 12-1pm (March 19 - September 3, 2013). Come early to fellowship. Bring a sack lunch or go out to lunch afterwards! We will be meeting in the old sanctuary of the Nazarene church (900 West Line St.)

Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, "I gave birth to him in pain." Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.

Repetition plays an important role in the Bible. Distinctions do too. As you spend time in 1 & 2 Chronicles, see if you can distinguish ways in which the reporting differs from that in earlier reporting of the same events and people.
